We leave Las Vegas and wind our way down to the spectacular Hoover Dam and then climb back out for a relaxing cup of coffee at Rosie's Den. Now we cross over some of Arizona's high-desert to Kingman where we ride Historic Route 66. We follow Route 66 through some of the old towns that were made famous when Route 66 was the only highway out West. We end our day in the Historic Train Town of Williams.

DAY 2 - 190 Miles, 306 Km: Williams to Sedona

We'll start out by heading north across the Coconino Plateau to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. After experiencing how long it takes a rock to reach the bottom of the Canyon and many pictures later, we'll continue east along the Navajo Indian Reservation and up into the town of Flagstaff. We continue on through the Coconino National Forest and make our way though the twisites and Oak Creek Canyon to the Old West, but new-age town of Sedona. We relax for an evening of checkout out all of the local art talent.

DAY 3 - 185 Miles, 298 Km: Sedona to Payson

We head out and travel through some of Arizona's oldest mining towns, some of them now ghost towns, but still have a story to tell. We then follow old General Cook's Trail up across the Mongolian Rim and into the Tonto National Forest where we'll spend the night in Payson.

DAY 4 - 300 Miles, 483 Km: Payson to Alpine

We ride south out of Payson, dropping back down into the high-desert and enjoy the beauty of Roosevelt Lake where we'll follow the Old Apache Trail to the mining town of Globe. From Globe we proceed east to the spectacular open pit mines in Morenci. After experiencing just how small a mining pit truck looks at the bottom of an open pit mine, we'll head north into the twisties on the Coronado Trail and enjoy the coolness of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest and arrive at our resting place for the day in Alpine.

DAY 5 - 280 Miles, 450 Km: Alpine to Flagstaff

We'll continue our high-country journey through several small mountain communities enjoying the cool mountain air and the fantastic views. We'll pass though Payson and head north into the Coconino National Forest and ride through the gorgeous northern Arizona high-country and take the scenic loop around Mormon Lake. We'll end our day in Flagstaff and the local beauty of this mountain town.

DAY 6 - 190 Miles, 306 Km: Flagstaff to Laughlin

We make our way across northern Arizona to Kingman where we'll ride another part of Historic Route 66. This part of Route 66 will take us to the old mining town of Oatman. Then head down the hill to the Colorado River Valley to Laughlin, where we'll enjoy the Casinos and the Nightlife.
